Laura Diaconescu, Presedinte AIESEC Romania
People realized long time before that "Learning is what most adults will do for a living in the 21st century". So I think this tells us what we should capitalize on in our days, what we should invest in. This is why I saw value and opportunity in the initiative of 'Dinu Patriciu' foundation.
Furthermore I’m part of the biggest youth organization in the world which aims to bring contribution to youth development. This and our values as an organization bring me closer to the cause supported by 'Gala Premiilor in Educatie'. I'm grateful to contribute to this initiative in appreciating individuals/organizations/institutions for constantly striving for excellence, leading new initiatives and trends in education.
Personally, i strongly believe, that this is what we should call 'smart investment': development of basic fields that will fundamentally add value to the society. For this cause I’m standing in this jury.
