Biografie

After change of communist regime in Romania in December 1989, Camelia Sucu practiced at Victor Babes Hospital in Bucharest for 3 years as general physician. Although, beginning 1993, together with her husband she founded Mobexpert, a furniture retail company, although a part of her always remained with her first passion, the medical profession.

Since 1993 up to date Mobexpert became Romanian leading company in furniture retail, production, distribution, comprises more than 30 entities with 5000 employees.

Following the increasing demand of Romanian clients and the trends on the international furniture market, in 1994 was developed the luxury brand of the Group, Class Living. This brand commercializes well known Italian furniture meant for a sophisticated, advised consumer. Lately, the company began to pay special attention in accessories to match the furniture and develop a consistent concept of "ready to move in" approach to the clients.

She is also member of several charity foundations (e.g. Renasterea Foundation that deals with breast cancer, Provita Foundation for abandoned children, Ovidiu Rom for education of the poorest members of Romania society, Sheherezade foundation, Foundation Princess Margareta, etc.).

In 2008 she has been awarded by the “People for People Gala” - Sponsorships & Contribution Programs, physical person.

As a symbolic return to her first profession, she plans to set up a private clinic aimed at women.
