The following can apply for “The Education Awards Gala”:

• natural persons (school students, university students, middle and higher education teachers, kindergarten teachers, elementary teachers, researchers, librarians),
• public or private education institutions,
• non-governmental organizations.

Application for the competition implies the ex officio acceptance of the Terms and conditions of the website www.premiileineducatie.ro and of the Competition’s regulations.

In order to apply, follow the steps below:

1. Choose the adequate competition category. Verify the categories that you can apply for.

2. Read the eligibility criteria, the assessment process and the Competition’s regulations.

3. Create an account. It will be active throughout the entire registration period, until we receive by mail the application form, filled and signed.

4. Fill out the application form.

Rules for filling out the application form

Do not use diacritics in the application form. Operating systems differ from one user to another, thus existing the risk that the Jury may not properly read the information you provide.   

The application form can be filled out in 3 steps:

Step 1: Contact data – in this section, besides the usual data (surname, forename, e-mail address, phone number etc.), you will also have to upload one of your pictures.  If you are among the finalists, this picture will be used on the brochure presenting the Nominees of the 2010 Education Awards Gala.

Step 2: Application form – not all fields in this section are compulsory.  You must however know that each field matches an assessment criterion.  The weight of each criterion is specified in the vicinity of each field.  The assessment criteria can be found here.

It is essential to resume the entire candidature in the last field of the application form.  If you are among the finalists, this abstract will be used on the brochure presenting the Nominees of the 2010 Education Awards Gala.

Step 3: Submission of application – this section signals all compulsory fields that have not been filled After you have filled them out, click on "View application". The application will generate a .pdf document that simulates the final form of your application as it will be viewed by the Jury.  If you agree to this form, download it on your computer by clicking “Download”.  Then, you have to print the application form, sign it and send it by mail to the Foundation’s address (2 Mircea Eliade Bd., district 1, Bucharest), no later than September 27, 2010. Along with the form, you have to enclose documents proving the information presented in the application form.  Do not forget to specify “For the Education Awards Gala” on the envelope.

Then click “Finalize application”.  Your account will be closed and you will be registered into the competition.

Navigate through the application form by clicking the step you want to follow (from the top side of the page on the blue buttons).

Constantly save the filled out information, by clicking the “Save” button.

Exit the account every time you leave the computer by clicking “Log out”.

In completing the application form, provide as much details as possible on the activities you have unfolded in the academic year 2009-2010. The jury will only assess the application form.  The documents you will send will be only required to establish the truthfulness of the presented information.

Do not forget to upload a picture of you!

Do not forget to make a summary of your whole candidature.  If you are among the finalists, this summary will be your presentation in the 2010 Education Awards Gala brochure.
