1. Can I apply for the 2010 Education Awards Gala if I also applied last year?

Yes, candidates declared eligible in last year’s edition of the Awards may apply this year too.  2009 winners cannot apply for the Education Awards Gala for 5 years since winning the competition.

2. I do not have enough time to fill out the application form. What can I do?

The application form is thus conceived to allow filling out in several stages.  You must however save the filled out part of the form, by often clicking the SAVE button.

3. What documents do I have to send with the filled out form?

The organizers wished to ease the application procedure.  So they let it up to the candidates to choose documents to send.  The following will be accepted: copies of awarded diplomas/certificates, letters of recommendation, photos, films, newspaper articles, online articles etc.

4. Will I receive the documents back after the competition concludes?

No, the organizers of the competition do not undertake to return the sent documents.  This is why we recommend that all sent documents be copies or documents you no longer need.

5. How will the Jury assess all materials sent by the candidates?

The Jury will not assess the documents sent along with the application form.  They are only required for your application to be deemed eligible.  Only eligible applications will be assessed by the Jury.

6. Can I register someone into the competition?

The application form requires specific information on the activity of the candidate, information that a third party may not know.  So, in order to not disadvantage anyone, we have created the Recommendations section.  By filling out a brief form you can register someone into the competition.  The respective person will be informed by email on the opportunity to apply for the Education Awards Gala.
